Spinopelvic Balance Restoration Using Posterior Vertebral Column Resection in Fixed Lumbosacral Deformity Following Pyogenic Spondylodiscitis

Background Data: Several articles reported on PVCR for correction of thoracolumbar deformities that followed tuberculous spondylodiscitis. But fewer focused fixed lumbosacral deformity secondary to L5 pathology. Study Design: A retrospective cohort study. Purpose: This article aims determine the degree spinopelvic parameters after posterior vertebral column resection (PVCR) fifth lumbar vertebra (L5) in pyogenic spondylodiscitis and define its relation patients` clinical functional outcomes.
